What type of feature is this?

  • label: Server
  • label: Mastodon API
  • label: Feature

What feature would you like implemented?

You can organize your drive files by folders, and there is a “default upload folder” setting. I think we should respect this setting in Mastodon API as well. (Also, the text “Default folder for uploads” is overflowing out of the frame)

Currently, all files uploaded via Mastodon API are placed in the root directory.

Why should we add this feature?

The default folder feature is useful for organizing drive files.
