Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

What happened?
when trying to select text on mobile (long-pressing on a post) it will always open up a context menu instead of letting the user select/copy text from the post.
What did you expect to happen?
for text in a post to be selectable on mobile
Steps to reproduce the issue
long press on a post with the mobile web client; in this example i long pressed on the word "syncthing"

What did you try to solve the issue / Do you have any insights
only way to bypass this issue currently is copying the whole post text from the three dots menu > share, and then deleting all the text except for what you want when you paste it

Can confirm with Firefox for Android 130.0a1, Firefish v20240710, Android 14 on Pixel 6 Pro. Highlighting note content does not work in both main note and replies.

Cannot confirm with Firefox 128.0.1, Firefish v20240714 on Android ArrowOS 13.1. Highlighting and copying part of posts works as expected.

Firefox on iOS is also okay
because all iOS browsers are essentially Safari?I wonder if other web applications have the same problem (it might only be for *keys, since our web app is so complicated that it even has a built-in window manager)

ah, it seems to be an issue with firefox mobile. i can select text with chrome mobile on android. it seems to be firefox for android it does not work. unsure if it affects firefox on ios too

fwiw, I can’t reproduce this with my iPhone (Android only?)
